Excited for Netflix's first live-action Scooby-Doo series! McKenna Grace (Scream 7, Ghostbusters) officially cast as young Daphne Blake in this 8-episode origin story. During their final summer at camp, old friends Shaggy and Daphne team up with pragmatic townie Velma and new kid Fred to solve a supernatural mystery involving a lost Great Dane puppy (Scooby!) that witnessed a murder. Modern reimagining with spooky vibes, mystery-solving, and teen drama!
Dream/Fan Cast Buzz:
McKenna Grace as Daphne Blake (confirmed!)
Emma Myers (Wednesday, A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder) as Velma Dinkley (top fan dream cast — quirky, smart, perfect fit!)
Mason Thames (The Black Phone, How to Train Your Dragon) as Shaggy Rogers (chemistry with McKenna from Regretting You + their Halloween 2024 Daphne/Shaggy pics went viral — Zoinks, make it happen!)
Frank Welker voicing Scooby-Doo
More cast TBA (Fred, Velma official soon?)
Filming starts April 2026 in Atlanta — expected Netflix premiere 2027! Berlanti Productions, Midnight Radio, Warner Bros. TV.

◅ On our channel we create а trailer mashups ▻
also known as recut trailers, involve collecting multiple pieces of film footage from one or multiple movies and editing them to create a new trailer. Trailer mashups are often created for a movie that does not exist now or to change the genre of an existing film. These are derivative works as defined by the United States Copyright Act 17 U.S.C. § 101, and as such, may find protection from copyright claims under the doctrine of fair use.
The trailer mashups are not only a user generated form of digital creativity but a way to create anticipation for future releases, working in tandem with current movie trailers. Movie trailers are designed to give minimal plot detail and to create hype and anticipation. Fan made trailer mashups allow the audience to perform their own cinematic spin on current movie footage. This allows the trailer to focus on a specific actor or portion of the film. It could even change the plot or genre of the film entirely.
This video is a parody. Due to its derivative/transformative nature, this video is considered a fair use of the material.
